Freeform curls, bounded on the outside by smooth rounded rails, open in spots and tightly coiled in other spots... this ring stands up off the finger by about 1/2", with open space beneath. Two 14k yellow gold bezels hold 3.5mm light blue zircon rounds, and the design completes itself around the bottom of the finger.

Zircon- not to be confused with the simulant zirconia, is a natural stone with a high refractive index, or a heckuva lotta sparkle. The blue is irradiated, but is a permanent treatment and leaves a lovely stone. It is the original birthstone for December babies :)

The rest of the ring is cast in reclaimed sterling silver, appx 9mm wide. Size 7.5, not sizable due to its unique shape, but I would be happy to build you a similar one in your own size and with different gemstones, if desired. It would, of course, be completely unique.
