Demantoid garnet is a departure from the deep red we often see. Instead, this stone is found near calcium and iron deposits and is tinted a lovely chartreuse yellow-green. This particular specimen is a rough gem- completely unpolished and un-faceted. It is mounted low to the finger in sturdy hand-formed prongs. Accenting this are two faceted peridots, just a touch more green than the center stone for a pleasant color gradient. These measure 2.5mm and are bar set for longevity. This ring is completely one of a kind, hand sculpted by Sarah J Christenson. Sterling silver.
